Galatasaray have taken a major step forward in their pursuit of Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen after reaching a personal agreement with the player.

Osimhen has reportedly agreed to a long-term contract with the Turkish giants, set to run until June 2028. The 25-year-old forward, who has previously shown interest in the move, has once again given Galatasaray the green light.

However, the final hurdle remains a club-to-club agreement. Galatasaray’s initial €55 million bid is on the table, but they face stiff competition from Saudi side Al Hilal, who are willing to trigger Osimhen’s €75 million release clause.

The ball is now in Napoli’s court as negotiations continue.
