Ghanaian midfielder Nancy Amoh has taken the next big step in her career, sealing a move to Spanish women’s side DUX Logroño after a standout year for both club and country.
The 20-year-old Black Queens star joins the Liga F outfit from Ampem Darkoa Ladies, the Ghanaian Women’s Premier League giants where she rose to prominence. Amoh captured headlines during the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco, coolly converting the decisive penalty in Ghana’s third-place playoff victory over South Africa.
DUX Logroño confirmed her arrival with a warm welcome, posting:
> “Welcome, Nancy Amoh, to DUX Logroño! We’re delighted to have you in our family and are excited about everything you’ll bring to the team. Your talent and dedication will inspire us to achieve new goals together. Here begins a new stage full of achievements and great moments!”
Amoh, a former Black Princesses midfielder, has already begun training with her new teammates and will wear the number 12 jersey this season. Sharing her excitement on social media, she wrote: “My new home. DUX Logroño. Liga F.”
Her move not only strengthens Logroño’s midfield options but also adds another chapter to the growing presence of Ghanaian women in top European leagues.
