The Nigerian football community has been plunged into deep mourning following the sudden death of Shooting Stars SC’s assistant coach, Akin Olowokere.
The tragedy unfolded on Monday morning, August 11, at the Dipo Dina Stadium in Ijebu Ode, where Olowokere collapsed during preparations for Matchday 2 of the ValueJet Cup 2025.
