Manchester United have been dealt a major blow as first-choice goalkeeper André Onana has been officially ruled out of the club’s pre-season tour due to a hamstring injury. The setback comes just weeks before the start of the Premier League season, leaving manager Rúben Amorim with a big decision to make.
Sources say Amorim is now seriously considering entering the transfer market to secure a new goalkeeper, with the club reluctant to risk starting the campaign without sufficient cover between the sticks.
Onana’s absence not only disrupts United’s preparations but could also force a shift in summer transfer priorities.

Galatasaray are not backing down in their pursuit of Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen. After seeing their initial €70 million bid turned down by Napoli, the Turkish giants have returned with a fresh and improved proposal worth €75 million.
According to sources close to the deal, the new offer includes an immediate €40 million payment, with the remaining €35 million to be paid in structured installments. Crucially, Galatasaray have once again emphasized bank guarantees to assure Napoli of the deal’s security.
The ball is now firmly in Napoli’s court, with the Italian club expected to make a decision in the coming days. Osimhen, who has been at the center of several transfer rumours this summer, could be set for a sensational move to the Süper Lig if Galatasaray’s persistence pays off.
All eyes are on Naples as the Turkish champions wait for a green light.
