While playing with Ronaldo and Mane might look enticing, it’s crucial to weigh the long-term impact on his career. For Boniface, staying in Europe seems like the best option at this stage—both for his development and for solidifying his place among football’s elite.

Former Everton captain and Nigeria international Joseph Yobo has expressed confidence that the Super Eagles will mount a serious challenge for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) title in Morocco. Yobo, who led Nigeria to their last AFCON triumph in 2013, believes that with quality players and strong leadership under head coach Eric Chelle, the Super Eagles are well-positioned to reclaim Africa’s top football prize.
Speaking after Nigeria’s placement in Group C alongside Tunisia, Uganda, and Tanzania in the AFCON draw held in Rabat, Yobo acknowledged the tough road ahead. Sevilla President Víctor Orta has dropped a major hint about Kelechi Iheanacho’s potential loan move, signaling a possible exit for the Nigerian forward in the final stretch of the January transfer window.

Nigerian teenager Ambrose Ochigbo joins Al Kholood on loan, mentored by Super Eagles captain Troost-Ekong.
In a move that highlights his rising potential, 19-year-old Nigerian midfielder Ambrose Ochigbo has officially signed for Saudi Pro League side Al Kholood on loan from Tunisian club ES Zarzis. The deal, worth €96,000, runs until the end of the season and includes an option to make the transfer permanent.
