Crystal Palace Chairman Steve Parish has commended Jordan Ayew for his exceptional and selfless contributions during his six-year tenure at the club, following the Ghanaian forward’s transfer to Leicester City. Ayew, who signed a two-year deal with Leicester City worth £8 million, made 212 appearances for Palace, scoring 23 goals and providing 22 assists. Parish praised Ayew’s impact on and off the pitch, highlighting his dedication, all-round play, and leadership. He expressed gratitude for Ayew’s service, stating that Ayew will always be welcome at Selhurst Park. Ayew’s time at Palace included numerous accolades, such as the Player of the Season and Players’ Player of the Season awards in 2018/19, as well as the Goal of the Season award for his solo effort against West Ham United.
