GFA President Kurt Okraku Praises Revitalization of Ghana’s National Teams

Ghana Football Association (GFA) President Kurt Okraku has expressed pride in the revitalization of the country’s national teams under his leadership. Since taking office in 2019, Okraku has focused on restoring Ghanaian football, which he believes was in decline before his tenure. He pointed to several key achievements, including the Black Stars’ qualification for the 2022 World Cup, the Black Queens’ return to the Women’s AFCON, and the resurgence of youth competitions and domestic leagues. In an interview with Asempa FM, Okraku emphasized the significant progress made, stating that Ghanaian football has regained its competitive edge and reignited the passion of the people.
