GFA Opens Doors to All Broadcasters for CAF African Schools Championship Coverage

In a significant boost to youth football visibility, the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has announced that the broadcast feed for the highly anticipated CAF African Schools Football Championship will be freely accessible to all interested television stations.

The tournament, which runs from April 23 to April 26, 2025, at the University of Ghana Stadium, will showcase Africa’s brightest U-15 talents in both the boys’ and girls’ categories. Recognized as the premier youth football event on the continent, the championship aims to foster grassroots development and pan-African unity through sport.

According to the GFA, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) will provide a complete broadcast feed of all matches—from the group stages through to the finals—at no cost. TV stations eager to join the coverage are encouraged to contact the GFA’s General Secretary, Prosper Harrison Addo, via email at [email protected].

GTV and Imax Media’s Max TV have already secured non-exclusive rights to air the tournament, but the GFA emphasized that other broadcasters are welcome to take part in promoting the event to wider audiences.
