Ama Brobey Williams Champions Women’s Football Leadership at CAF Program in Egypt

Deputy General Secretary (Administration) of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Ama Brobey Williams, has taken a significant step in championing the cause of women’s football by participating in the CAF Women’s Football Leadership Program in Cairo, Egypt.

Her involvement underscores the GFA’s firm commitment to empowering women in football and driving gender equality within the sport. The leadership program, initiated under the guidance of CAF President Dr. Patrice Motsepe, aims to nurture female leaders and expand the influence of women’s football across Africa.

The GFA regards Ama Brobey Williams’ participation as a strategic move to enhance capacity-building within the Association, while creating more avenues for women to rise in football administration.

This initiative aligns with the GFA’s broader vision of inclusivity, development, and sustained growth in the women’s game—both locally and continentally.
