Ghanaian boxer Delali Miledzi will return to the ring on Saturday, September 12, as he takes on unbeaten Austrian boxer Edin Avdic in a 10-round international super-middleweight contest in Austria.
Miledzi, a former West Africa Boxing Union (WABU) super-middleweight champion, faces a difficult assignment against Avdic, who enters the bout with an unbeaten record and the IBF International super-middleweight title.
The Ghanaian will be looking to put together a strong performance as he continues his pursuit of another significant opportunity on the international boxing scene.
Miledzi has previously established himself as one of Ghana’s promising fighters at super-middleweight. In 2019, he captured the WABU super-middleweight title, adding another achievement to his growing professional career.
However, Saturday’s challenge presents a different test, with Avdic enjoying home advantage and carrying an unbeaten record into the contest.
For Miledzi, the fight represents more than another appearance in the ring. A victory over an undefeated opponent would provide a major boost to his ambitions and could strengthen his position for bigger international opportunities.
Avdic, meanwhile, will be determined to protect his unbeaten record on home soil and demonstrate why he has established himself as a champion in the division.
With both fighters having plenty at stake, the 10-round encounter promises to be a significant night for Miledzi and Ghanaian boxing.
