Ghanaian footballers continued to make their presence felt across the world over the weekend, with several players producing eye-catching performances for their respective clubs.
From Europe to Major League Soccer, the Ghanaian contingent delivered goals, assists and important contributions, with Emanuel Poku, Andrews Appiah, Ronald Donkor and Christopher Bonsu Baah among the standout performers.
Poku shines for Almere City
Emanuel Poku enjoyed a memorable outing for Almere City, playing a key role in their emphatic 4-0 victory over MVV Maastricht.
The Ghanaian midfielder came off the bench in the second half and made an immediate impact, contributing a goal and an assist as Almere City completed a dominant win.
Poku’s performance underlined his attacking influence and gave his side an additional spark after his introduction.
Appiah’s brace earns Auda a point
Andrews Appiah was another Ghanaian who caught the eye, producing a dramatic individual performance for Latvian side Auda.
The 18-year-old scored twice as Auda fought back from two goals down to draw 2-2 with Riga FC.

In Major League Soccer, Ronald Donkor emerged as the match-winner for New York Red Bulls.
The Ghanaian midfielder scored a late goal to help the Red Bulls secure victory and end a six-game winless run.

Bonsu Baah provides an assist
