Atalanta Clinch Deal for Ghana’s Kamaldeen Sulemana in Big-Money Move

Atalanta have struck an agreement with Southampton to sign explosive Ghanaian winger Kamaldeen Sulemana in a deal worth €17.5 million plus €4 million in potential add-ons and team bonuses. The Serie A club has also included a 15% sell-on clause in favour of Southampton.

The 22-year-old Black Stars forward is set to sign a four-year contract, with an option for a fifth, marking a new chapter in his career after Southampton’s relegation battle.

Sulemana, currently enjoying his summer break in Accra, has reportedly decided to cut his holiday short and will travel to Bergamo tomorrow to undergo his medical and finalize personal terms.

Atalanta, who recently lifted the UEFA Europa League title, see Kamaldeen as a key piece in their squad revamp ahead of another European campaign.
